Create an account Log inAn account is free, but it is not decorative. It lets us keep contribution records honest, keep ratings from being gamed, and hold every reader to the Content Policy. It also remembers your place in a book. We ask for an email address and a password — nothing else is required.
Novelhaus does not pay contributors, and it does not take a share of what you write. You keep 100% of the copyright in your own work and can publish it anywhere else at any time. What the platform gives back is a permanent public credit, an audience of readers, editorial and AI help finishing work that would otherwise stay unfinished, and collaborators who carry a story further than one person could alone. That trade is stated plainly in the Contributor Terms.
Any future paid feature or publishing arrangement would be a separate agreement you choose to sign, applying only to work you opt in, only going forward. Nothing you contribute today can be turned into a revenue claim or an ownership share later. Work already published on Novelhaus stays free to read.
Open to everyone only works if the shared space stays readable. Novelhaus does not host sexual content or gratuitous violence, and any sexual material involving minors results in immediate removal and a report where the law requires it. Dark subjects are welcome in fiction; writing that exists to serve harm is not. The Content Policy explains the line with examples.
