Single Writer Process
Single Writer is a private writing and publishing support service for authors who want to complete their own manuscript independently. It is separate from Novelhaus collaborative writing. There are no community votes, no episode co-authors, and no collaborative revenue split.
1. Private Writing
The author creates a private project with a title, pitch, and episodes. The manuscript is visible only to the author while it remains in draft.
- Write and revise your pitch anytime during draft.
- Add, edit, and organize episodes privately.
- Download the manuscript as TXT for backup or review.
2. Publishing Review Request
When the manuscript is ready, the author may request Novelhaus publishing review. After the request, the draft is locked for admin review. Requesting review does not guarantee publication — Novelhaus may decline, delay, or remove a work at its discretion.

4. Ownership & E-book Sales
The author retains 100% ownership of the manuscript and story IP. Novelhaus provides publishing support and platform sales service.
- Author ownership: 100%
- E-book sales commission: Novelhaus 30%
- Author share: 70% of net e-book revenue — calculated after Novelhaus's 30% commission and after applicable payment-processing fees, refunds, chargebacks, store fees, and taxes. Revenue is not guaranteed.
- Service fees: AI review, editorial support, formatting, and publishing assistance may be charged separately. Fees are disclosed before you incur them and, unless required by law, are non-refundable once the service has begun.
5. Author Responsibility
The author is responsible for originality, plagiarism, copyright, defamation, privacy, and all third-party intellectual property issues. Novelhaus may refuse or remove work that appears to violate rights, platform policy, or applicable law.
6. Difference from Collaborative Novelhaus
Collaborative Novelhaus uses community ratings and revenue sharing among the platform, pitch author, and episode authors. Single Writer does not use that structure.
