1. Purpose of Beta
The beta service is intended to test and improve Novelhaus's features, operational policies, and user experience. Feedback collected during beta may be used to enhance the service.
2. Changes to Features/Policies
- During beta, certain features may be added/modified/removed without prior notice.
- UI, operational policies, and participation conditions (e.g., evaluation criteria) may change as the service stabilizes.
3. Data Retention & Stability
- Data created or stored during beta (content/settings/records) is not guaranteed to be retained permanently at an official-service level.
- Some data may be modified/migrated/deleted as part of improvements, restructuring, or security measures.
- The Company may attempt backups and recovery where feasible; however, full responsibility for data loss is not guaranteed during beta.
4. Acceptance/Acknowledgment Records
- During beta, acknowledgments (e.g., “I have read this” buttons) may be implemented primarily for UX improvement.
- Such records may not function as a complete legal proof system as in an official service.
- Before official launch, the Company may introduce procedures such as server-side acceptance logs and terms versioning, where necessary.
5. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
- The Company does not guarantee that the beta service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fully complete.
- Unless caused by the Company’s willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Company’s liability may be limited for damages arising from beta use.
- The Company is not liable for interruptions caused by force majeure (natural disasters, network failures, hosting/infrastructure outages, etc.).
6. Transition to Official Service
- Upon transition to official service, updated Terms/Privacy/Author Terms may be announced, and users may be required to re-consent where necessary.
- This Beta Service Notice may automatically expire upon official launch or on a termination date designated by the Company.
